THE SKETCH EXPLORES WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE DESIGN STAGE IS CARRIED THROUGH TO THE FINAL OBJECT.

THE EXPERIMENT

The Sketch explores what happens when the design stage is carried through to the final object.

Every watch begins as a set of lines. In this case, those lines remain. Structure, proportion and construction marks are left visible, allowing the object to reflect its earliest form rather than a refined surface.

MATERIAL SCIENCE

Polycarbonate is used as a canvas, providing a lightweight, durable surface.

In this version, the case and strap act as a uniform base, allowing the sketch lines to remain sharp and defined across the surface. The soft-touch finish reduces glare, keeping the contrast clear while maintaining a smooth, lightweight feel on the wrist.

THE COLLECTION

POLYCARBON

Polycarbonate behaves differently from steel. It absorbs light rather than reflecting it, creating a softer, more controlled surface. As a result, color appears more even, with less glare and greater consistency across the watch.

The material is lightweight, with a soft-touch coating that gives it a warmer, more tactile feel than metal or ceramic. This is why we use it as a core material. It gives us more control over how the watch looks and feels, allowing each design to be shaped through material, not just form.
