HERE A TECHNICAL MATERIAL IS REWORKED FOR AESTHETICS.
THE EXPERIMENT
Carbon fibre, typically used for strength, is reworked here as a dial and blended with gold pigments to explore how it can function as a surface. As it sets, the surface develops natural variation, giving each dial a slightly different finish.
MATERIAL SCIENCE
Here a technical material is reworked for aesthetics. As the material forms, it creates natural variation across each piece. The carbon structure gives the dial its texture, while the gold pigments change how it reflects light, creating depth across the surface. Anti-reflective sapphire glass maintains clarity, reducing glare and allowing the dial to remain visible in different lighting conditions.
THE COLLECTION
ULTRA THIN
A collection defined by proportion. The case is reduced in thickness, measuring just a few millimetres, creating a slimmer profile that sits close to the wrist. Stainless steel cases and integrated bracelets form a compact, continuous silhouette, with each element aligned to keep the overall form low and controlled. The construction is lightweight and precise, so the watch sits flatter, moves less, and remains unobtrusive throughout the day.
